The National Motorcycle Museum is located at Bickenhill, Solihull, close to Junction 6 of the M42 motorway and the A45 Coventry Road. Founded in 1984 by William 'Roy' Richards.
The Horse and Tamer bronze statue was originally in the grounds of Tudor Grange (formerly home of the Bird family) in Solihull. Made in 1874 by Joseph Boehm. In Malvern Park from 1953.
The Parish Church of St James the Great in Shirley, Solihull, at Church Road near the Stratford Road. Built in 1831 Early English style. 1882 red brick chancel and transept with blue bricks.
Shirley Baptist Church is on the Stratford Road in Shirley, Solihull. It was built in 1910. The congregation has existed since 1797 and has moved site in 1845 then 1910.
The Parish Church of of St Margaret, Olton is located near the Warwick Road in Olton, Solihull. The building was completed by 1896. Has been in The Diocese of Birmingham since 1900.
Olton Friary is located on St Bernard's Road in Olton, Solihull. Catholic Church of the Holy Ghost & Mary Immaculate was built from 1926 to 1929 by George Bernard Cox.
St Augustine's Catholic Church is located in Solihull Town Centre between Station Road and Herbert Road. The original building was designed by A W N Pugin in 1838.
Solihull Methodist Church is on the corner of Blossomfield Road and Station Approach, not far from Solihull Station. The building dates to 1937 by McKewan & McKewan. Art Deco style.
Solihull Synagogue is located on Monastery Drive in Solihull. It was built in the late 1970s. It is a small community with a big heart. Rabbi Pink has led the community for 30 years.
Elmdon Church is located within Elmdon Park in Solihull. Also called The Parish Church of St Nicholas Elmdon. A Grade II listed building dating to 1780-81.
The parish church of Solihull is St Alphege's Church, located in Solihull Town Centre. A medieval church dating back to the 13th century. A Grade I listed building.
You will find this new cathedral near the Solihull Bypass. St. Mary and Archangel Michael's Coptic Orthodox Cathedral was built between 2017 and 2019, and was open by 2020.
King Charles III & Queen Camilla were crowned at Westminster Abbey in London on Saturday 6th May 2023. In the West Midlands, Union Jack flags, and bunting etc have gone up everywhere.
Hampton-in-Arden Station is on the West Coast Mainline between Birmingham International and Coventry. It originally opened in 1884. Two trains per hour in each direction.
Berkswell Station is on the West Coast Mainline between Birmingham International and Coventry. A station originally opened here in 1844. It serves the villages of Balsall Common and Berkswell.
Marston Green Station is in Solihull, close to the Sheldon Country Park and Birmingham Airport. On the West Coast Mainline. It originally opened back in 1838.
Earlswood Station is on the Solihull, West Midlands / Stratford-on-Avon,Warwickshire border. It opened in 1908. Today the station is close to Earlswood Garden & Landscape Centre.
Dorridge Station originally opened back in 1852 by the GWR. Today it's one of the stops on the Chiltern Mainline, and the terminus of local service run by West Midlands Railway.
Solihull Station is on the Chiltern Mainline between Birmingham Snow Hill and London Marylebone. Opened originally in 1852 by the GWR, had two island platforms now reduced to one.
Widney Manor Station is on the Chiltern Mainline between Solihull and Dorridge, the last station before crossing the M42 motorway. It opened back in 1899.
Olton Station is on the Chiltern Mainline between Birmingham and Solihull. It opened in 1869. There is now two platforms for stopping services. Saxon horse sculpture outside the station.
Whitlocks End Station has been the southern terminus for the Shakespeare Line for trains that don't go beyond to Stratford-upon-Avon since 2011.
Shirley Station opened on what is now the Shakespeare Line in 1908. It used to be the terminus for trains not going further to Stratford-upon-Avon until 2010.
The Olton Clock Tower is located on the Warwick Road in Olton, Solihull, at the junction of Old Warwick Road. There is no known details on this clock, and the time is always wrong.
