The Chancel was designed by J. G. Bland (of Bland & Cossins), built 1879 to 1880.

The rest of the church was designed by Benjamin Corser, built from 1895 to 1896, this included the aisled nave, transepts and vestry.

Was plans for a south west tower but it was never built.

The rather plain hall was built from 1971 to 1972.
The pulpit and low screen date to 1898.
The alabaster Reredos from 1901, the choir stalls from 1904, the alabaster font from 1913 and cover of 1920.
The carvers were all done by the Bridgemans.
The stained glass in the Chancel east and south windows was by Ward & Hughes, 1895.
The north window by R. W. Winfield & Co (T. W. Camm), from 1886 to 1888.
The south chapel window by E Hardmans, 1959.
The north transept window by Hardmans, 1924.
The nave west window by Hardmans, 1920.
The west aisles were both by Clayton & Bell, 1911.
